Our system is having trouble verifying the identity document uploaded. Please upload a high quality image of the document.
When submitting documents, keep these in mind:
- Must be a valid, government-issued identity document that:
- Includes a photo of the contact
- Is in color
- Can be a photo or a color scan
- Lists the country and/or state of issue
- Includes expiration date
- Shows individual's date of birth
- Acceptable documents include:
- Driver License
- Identification Card
- Drivers Permit (Learner's Permit)
- Passport (signed, visible MRZ code)
- Unacceptable documents include:
- Expired
- Temporary IDs
- Military IDs
- Health insurance cards
- School identification cards
- Reservation cards
- Allodial American National identification cards
- Voter ID card
- Damaged or voided documents (i.e. voided or hole-punched IDs are unacceptable, minor cracks are acceptable)
- Paper IDs or laminated paper IDs
- Screenshots of photos of the identity document will not be accepted
- Both the front and back of the ID must be visible and uploaded
- Information on the identity document upload must be legible:
- No glare or flash that makes reading the information difficult
- Cannot be blurry
- Photo of individual on ID must be clear and visible
- All four corners of the document must be visible (laying on dark surface)
- Fingers are not in the photo (place the ID down on a flat surface and take a picture of it. If you are holding the ID in your hands, this can cause your account approval to be delayed).
- The identity document must be in Latin characters
- Documents that are not in Latin characters must be officially translated. Acceptable documents include:
- Original document translated by a certified translator and notarized with a stamp or seal of notary and signature of notary in black or blue ink only.
- Original document translated by a certified translation service company on letterhead (notarization not necessary).
- The translation must be included with the original and translated document.
- Documents that are not in Latin characters must be officially translated. Acceptable documents include:
- If the document does not list an address, a Proof of Address is required.
