If you are receiving the message above, this can mean a few things:
- The address is in the incorrect format.
- The main address should be in the “Street Address” field. If you have an apartment or unit number, place this information in the “Street Address 2” field.

- The address as input is not recognized. Review the address and correct any typos (which may include missing spaces).

- Prime Trust is unable to accept the address and/or the address is not a residential address.
- We are unable to accept the following addresses:
- PO Boxes
- Any commercial mailbox service address (e.g., The UPS Store)
- Shelter addresses
- Unique addresses
- If you reside on a ship or sailboat, upload a letter from the US Coast Guard confirming such
- If you reside in an RV, provide an agreement that states you are using a service that provides a legal residential address to receive mail
- If you reside at a hotel, upload a lease agreement with the hotel’s letterhead. This cannot be handwritten.
- If you reside in student or faculty housing, please upload a Proof of Address
- The address cannot be matched to the contact.
- If you have completed the prior requirements, confirmed the validity of the information provided, and are still receiving this message, upload a Proof of Address. This can occur when the address on the identity document does not match the address included in the account or the identity document does not list an address (e.g., most passports).
Proof of Address requirements:
- Dated within the past 90 days
- In Latin characters
- Documents that are not in Latin characters must be officially translated. Acceptable documents include:
- Original document translated by a certified translator and notarized with a stamp or seal of notary and signature of notary in black or blue ink only.
- Original document translated by a certified translation service company on letterhead (notarization not necessary).
- The translation must be included with the original and translated document.
- Documents that are not in Latin characters must be officially translated. Acceptable documents include:
- Matches the Full Name and Address associated with the contact during the account opening process
- Legible and complete
- Must show the first full page with the name and address of the contact
- Cannot be an envelope or folded in half
- Cannot be junk mail (e.g., credit card applications, life insurance applications)
Acceptable Proof of Address documents include:
- Monthly utility bills (e.g., electricity, phone) or statements (e.g., bank, credit card)
- W2 or other tax return document
- Pay stubs
