PrimeX allows you to easily transfer funds between Prime Trust account holders. Follow the instructions below to learn how you can send money via PrimeX.
Step 1: Request to be Added as an Authorized Counterparty
If you are sending funds to another account:
Before you can send funds to another PrimeX account, they must add you as an Authorized Counterparty. Provide the account holder with your account name and number. Then, ask them to add you as an Authorized Counterparty. You can learn how to add an Authorized Counterparty here.
If you are transferring funds between your own accounts:
Your own accounts are automatically added as an Authorized Counterparty, so you can skip this step.
Step 2: Select Your Account
Click on the "View” button for the account you wish to transfer funds from.
Step 3: Enter the Asset Type and Select the Counterparty
Click on the first drop down and select your asset type (i.e. USD, BTC). After selecting the type of currency or asset you are transferring, select the counterparty you will be transferring to. In the next drop down you should see a section that says "PrimeX Counterparties." Under this header will be a list of accounts you are approved to transfer funds to. Your linked accounts and any outside accounts that have approved you as an Authorized Counterparty will be listed in this window. Select the counterparty from this list. Then, click the blue "Continue" button to move onto the next step.
Step 4: Enter Amount and Optional Reference
In this section, enter the amount of disbursable funds you would like to transfer.
Then, you can enter an optional memo or reference message. Think of this as the "Memo" line on a personal check. When you're done or if you prefer not to write a reference message, click the blue "Continue" button.
Step 5: Review and Submit the Transfer
Review the amount and the account you are about to transfer the funds/assets to. When you are ready to complete the transfer, click on the blue "Finish" button.
