Step 1: Select your Account
Log in and click the “View” button next to the account you wish to make a deposit into.
Step 2: Click on the "Deposit" button.
Step 3: Select Asset Type
Click on the "Cash or Asset" drop down. Under the "Assets" section, scroll through the listed options and select the digital asset you will be sending to your account. Then, click on the "Via" drop down menu and click on "New Wallet Address" or select a wallet address that you have already added to your account. Click on the blue "Continue" button when you are ready to move onto the next step.
Step 4: Fill out Asset Details
Label: Under the "Label" section, enter your choice of name for the counterparty you are sending assets from.
If you would like to specify tax information, select the box labeled "Specify Tax Information." Under this section, complete the drop downs as explained below:
Currency: Under the Currency section, select "US Dollar (USD)" under.
Cost Basis: In the "Cost Basis" section, enter the total purchase cost for all tokens being deposited. The tokens deposited in one transaction must have been purchased at the same price on the same date. For example, I purchased 3.25 bitcoins on July 12th 2017 for $10,000 each (Please note: This is just an example and does not reflect the exact price of BTC). Under the Cost Basis section, I will enter $32,500.
Acquisition Date: under the "Acquisition Date" section, enter the date that you purchased the token(s) being deposited. If you are depositing multiple Tokens in a transaction, they must have been purchased on the same date. If you are depositing Tokens purchased on different dates, you will need to deposit them in separate transactions.
For example, the 3.25 tokens we are depositing were purchased on July 12th, 2017. We are able to deposit the 3.25 tokens in this one transaction, and we will list the Acquisition Date as 7/12/2017.
Once you have completed all fields, click the blue "Continue" button.
Step 6: Review the Information you have Entered and Submit
Step 7: Use the Wallet Address Provided to Deposit Tokens
After you Submit your Asset details, click on the "Show Wallet Address" button.
A wallet address and QR code will be provided to you.
When you withdraw your Tokens from your personal wallet, you will be asked for a "withdrawal address." Enter the Wallet Address provided by Prime Trust for this specific deposit along with the amount you would like to send, and submit the withdrawal request. In most cases, your wallet will require confirmation through email or through 2 Factor Authentication (Depending on which you have set up). Once you have confirmed your wallet request, the funds should be available in your Prime Trust account within 20 minutes. Some larger deposits can take up to a few hours.
